Music: Faith No More - Epic
Mood: Unemployed
So I was thinkin last night (but I was too lazy to post last night) about a show called Dead Like Me (Showtime). Just a lil background on it, the main character becomes a grim reaper after she dies. The premise is that there are grim reapers who "pop" souls right before tragic deaths to spare pain on the soon to be deceased. But really I think the show has a bit of wisdom in its rapport. Probably the most profound thing I've seen on it so far was about memories. It says that really all we have in life are memories or events. We can never go back and change the past nor can we have the exact same experience, but we can always remember that moment in time and cherish it and the people involved in our minds. It also brings up the afterlife or next life. It shows the bright lights that people go towards and it is different for every person. It's like a personalized heaven for people. I mean it's not unrealisitic, in it everyone dies at some point (they've found some creative ways to off people too) but we will always have our memories and we will someday go on to a better place that is exactly everything we ever wanted in our minds. So i guess this is my challenge, cherish your memories, dont be afraid to create new ones, enjoy life, and realize that no matter how bad things may have been in the past, all that you have a the memories. You dont have to relive it physically anymore and cherish the good parts. Like it is said in Just Married (movie) "You never see the hard times in a photo album, Those days take a lot of work but theyre the most important because they get you from one happy snap shot to the next."
ENJOY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SMILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
