Music: The Used - In Love and Death
Mood: Exhausted?
It has been forever since I updated this and I think it is time I do. Since the last time I posted so much stuff has happened in my life. To start with the sad, my step-grandma passed away. While it was expected, it doesn't make it any easier. My dad said something interesting at the funeral "Don't get old buddy because life just becomes one funeral after another." That is quite possibly the most depressing thing I have ever heard. I know it may seem like it sometimes but we also have to remember the circle of life. The day she passed a new baby was born into the family and if that doesn't show you how beautiful life is (even when it's depressing) than I don't know what can.
Life has it's way of working out. Back in December it didn't look like I would be able to find a co-op job for winter quarter but lo and behold I got one at D.S. Design company, and it is the best job I have ever had. My experiences range from military projects to hot dog movers!
Now that the past has been lightly covered I come to this weekend. WOW. Went home and had a great time seeing the parentals and my grandma. It was nice because I hadn't seen them since Christmas. We had a mardi-gras party last night. It was kewl as hell. I got to talk to Gail for a long time (I don't get to talk to her that often so it was real cooooooooool). I got to see Katiebear, who I hardly ever get to see anymore. The only downside was Justin got coldcocked by some asshole in the parking lot. Go figure this shithead cracks the 5' tall kid who wouldn't bust a grape in a food fight. Busted his nose in two places. Hennesey chucked a full beer and drilled someone in the face and all sorts of other shit went down (Chris broke his hand, Jared's sister went to the hospital, Niki went to the hospital.) Last night defined the word redonkulous! The cops were plenty happy to be there (YA RIGHT) they only had like 5 cruisers and a fire truck blocking Jefferson!
So anyways, life is life right now, just moving towards that whole graduating thingy. Trying to keep my sanity. I plan on posting more often (I know I've said that before but hopefully I can stick with it.
To those people I hung out with this weekend that I haven't seen in forever, I miss you all. You mean the world to me and I don't know who I would be without you all. Stop being strangers dammit!
